Coach Kevin MacCarthy
Kevin is a graduate of North Torrance HS where he had a stellar wrestling career.
He was a 2 time league champion, 2 time CIF placewinner and CIF finalist. Kevin
also won the the California State Games Champion and wrestled for Golden West
college.
Kevin was a coach at North Torrance prior to coming here to South.

Coach Ryan Matthews
Ryan Matthews is a former team Captain of the Spartan wrestling team and graduated in 2007. Ryan seen above winning against Mater Dei 15-0
Coach Tonino Valentin
Tonino graduated in 2008 and was a leader on team that went to the 2nd round of the CIF team duals.
Coach Chris Gintz
Coach Gintz has followed his sucessfull wrestling career at South HS by continueing on as a coach. Gintz is seen here demostrating his famous 'gorrilla ride' technique.
